Eden is the Chief of the Chief’s Group, Deputy Chief of Staff, Manpower and Personnel, Headquarters United States Air Force, Pentagon, Washington D.C. He is the principal advisor to the Deputy of Staff for Manpower, Personnel Services and the Chief Master Sergeant of the Air Force on all Chief Master Sergeant matters. He executes a $12M relocation budget and a $1.1M senior leader development portfolio. In addition, he manages the Command Chief Master Sergeant Screening process and provides guidance to all Senior Leaders on the execution of CCM hiring. He is responsible for worldwide management of 2.8K active duty Chief Master Sergeants in the United States Airforce.

Chief Eden is originally from Lancaster. Ohio and is a 1988 graduate of Lancaster High School. He entered the Air Force in January 1991 as a signals intelligence analyst and has held a wide variety of tactical, operational and strategic-level intelligence positions throughout his distinguished career. He has deployed in support of Operations SOUTHERN WATCH, JOINT ENDEAVOR, ALLIED FORCCE, ENDURING FREEDOM and IRAQI FREEDOM.

Prior to his current assignment, Chief Eden was a three time Command Chief, serving as the Senior Enlisted Advisor to the National Air and Space Intelligence Center. Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio; the Defense Intelligence Agency and the Command Senior Enlisted Leader for the Joint Functional Component Command for Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance, Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, Washington, DC; and the 480th Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Wing, Langley Air Force Base, Virginia.[/text_block]
