Jacque Allen is a resident of Newport News, VA, and a 20-year veteran of the United States Army. She is a Motivational Speaker, an Entrepreneur, and a Social Change Agent. She graduated from Averett University, 2007, with a Masters Degree in Education with a focus on curriculum. For eight years she worked as the Youth Development Lead at Warwick High School where she had a vision for at risk youth and young adults to develop and instill self worth, and become empowered to discover their gifts and talents. As a result she cofounded a nonprofit organization, Made For More Inc.

Jacque is also the host for W.O.R.D. Now, (We Own R Destiny Now) the Teen Talk Show that allows teens to speak openly and freely about the things going on in the world around them. When she’s not recording talk show sessions you can find her building her communication skills with The Oyster Point Speakers, Toastmasters International Club. She is the sponsor for a teen gavel club where she promotes public speaking and constructive dialogue for youth ages 12-17.

She is currently the Assistant Director of Student Services at An Achievable Dream Academy, in Newport News. One of her major goals is to implement strategies to enact positive change and improvement in the quality of life for youth and young adults.[/text_block]
