A native of Pennsylvania, and a graduate of Morris College in Sumter, South Carolina, Mrs. Marian Hudson-Gore is an 8-year veteran teacher in the Newport News Public School System. Throughout her tenure with the Newport News Public School system, she has worked mainly with Pre-Kindergarten students, but also with English as a Second Language (ESL) students. She has also taught in the Public Schools of South Carolina. Mrs. Gore is married to Major Kevin A. Gore (ret.), USAF. Together they have created six beautiful children, five girls and one son. Marian is very active in her church and youth department at Denbigh United Presbyterian Church, located in Newport News, Virginia. Mrs. Gore has been an Avon Consultant for over 10 years. She has also been an avid volunteer at Warwick High School in the band, choral and PTA departments. In her free time she enjoys reading, crocheting and spending time at her children’s various sporting and choral events.
